1. Introductions

VH welcomed attendees.

2. Annual Report Review

VH briefed members on the annual report.

3. Election of Officers

EW elected as a member of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops. Steve Dowling removed as a member of the CPG.

EW and RG nominated and elected Vikki Howells to continue her role as Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops. VH accepted.

EW and VH nominated and elected Russell George as Vice-Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops. RG accepted.

VH and RG nominated and elected EW to be Secretary of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops. EW accepted.

4. Review of Group Activity and Work Plan for 2023

VH gave a summary of the group’s activity, thanking members for attending previous meetings, and highlighted the contribution of the group on raising issues affecting small shops.

EW gave an overview of the group’s activity for 2023 and the group agreed on the highlighted policy issues to be potentially raised in future meetings.
